Position Overview:
The Director of Operations oversees daily operations, manages budgets and human resources, and ensures the organization runs efficiently to meet its mission. This position is responsible for developing and implementing internal processes and policies, managing facilities and technology and supporting leadership with strategic planning and execution.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
In collaboration with the President and CEO:
Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the organization's efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.
Directs, controls, implements, evaluates, monitors, and forecasts budgets and costs to achieve financial objectives.
Creates and maintains organizational workflows and a shared file system and tools.
Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures and meets with the entire staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures.
Leads coordination and integration of efforts among operations, technology, and partner services to produce smoother workflow and more effective business processes.
Serve as the point person for operational and organizational troubleshooting.
Ensure the organization complies with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and work environments are adequate and safe.
Develop and oversee day-to-day systems for scheduling, space use and internal coordination
Oversee the outsourced managed services providers
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers and partners to ensure timely delivery of services and resources.
Improves partner and client service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.
Supports event, program communications and fundraising logistics
Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, partners, and community.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervise and motivate staff, manage human resources files and develop policies and procedures for recruiting, training and retaining volunteers.
Participates in the hiring and training of staff.
Organizes and oversees the work and schedules of all staff.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with
organizational policy.

Experience/Education/Certifications:
Proven experience as an operations director or relevant role, with a minimum of 7 years of experience. Preference is for experience with 501(c)(3) organizations.
Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business operations and finance.
Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

Excellent Word, Excel, and Windows file management skills mandatory.
Demonstrated web research skills.
Familiarity with Outlook, Google or similar network-based email and calendar software.
Extensive computer usage and Microsoft Teams communication.
Must be able to work independently in a stable remote environment.

Ability to communicate verbally across all levels of the organization in a clear, concise and confident manner.
Ability to write accurate, clear and organized communications, incorporating a range of information and analysis.
Ability to document workflow and procedures.

Compensation and Benefits:
The Well Collective offers a competitive salary based on experience and skills. The salary range for this position is between $65k - $75k.
