We are excited to host a community panel and dialogue exploring the history, personal stories and perspective of the censorship and attacks on free speech about Palestine.

Moderated by Saira Rao, founder of Here4TheKids, we'll discuss the historical and present-day censorship and attacks on free speech centering global calls for Palestine's liberation. Youth and young adults are welcome.

Panelists include Faedah Totah, Jessican Lee, and Mark Wood.

  • Faedah Totah is a professor at Virginia Commonwealth University who specializes in world studies.

  • Jessica Lee is a former lawyer at the Center for Constitutional Rights.

  • Mark Wood is an Associate Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Ticket types include in-person and virtual attendance. For virutal ticketholders, a Zoom link will be sent to the Eventbrite email on file at noon on April 27. If you purchase a virtual ticket after that time, a link will be sent 30 minutes prior to the event.
